Roxane’s Testimony

Early on

I did not grow up in a Christian home. I can remember my father saying, “he did not believe in God.”

I was sexually abused by an Aunt who resided who resided with my Grand Mother and Grand Father. Many times these abusive episodes took place when I went to stay with my Grandparents. At other times I was sexually abused by the Aunt when my parents employed her to babysit. I was sexually abused before my first memory, until shortly after menstruation.

I was kicked out of the house and lived on the streets at 16. My parents had no use for girls. They moved down the street and built a small two bedroom house, just large enough for them and my two brothers.

Current

I graduated high school while living on the streets. I obtained an Associate’s Degree and paid for it by working odd jobs. I then moved forward, was Saved and achieved three degrees from the Bible College I was led to by the Lord.

I was ordained and graduated. During my stay at WEBC, I interned in the prisons, in nursing homes, and on the streets. After graduation I was a Chaplain in a Florida prison. I went on to Chaplain in a total of three prisons, both men’s and women’s.

In spite of the odds,

I a have prospered, all glory to God!
